DRAFT FOR OWNER REVIEW – NOT PUBLISHED
Recurring Payment Authorization
Last updated: July 16, 2026
This authorization applies when a Delay Services order includes a monthly or other recurring charge.
1. Customer authorization
By accepting the Delay Services Terms and completing Stripe Checkout, the customer authorizes Delay Services to charge the payment method provided through Stripe for:
- the one-time setup fee displayed at Checkout, if any;
- the first recurring service charge displayed at Checkout; and
- future recurring service charges at the displayed interval until the subscription is canceled or otherwise ends.
2. Amount and frequency
The exact amount due at Checkout and the recurring amount and frequency are displayed before the customer submits payment. For a monthly subscription, Stripe generally charges the payment method on or near the corresponding monthly billing date.
3. Payment processing
Stripe securely processes the payment method and may retain it for future authorized charges. Delay Services receives payment status and transaction references but does not require a salesperson to receive or store the customer’s complete card number or security code.
4. Receipts and records
Stripe or Delay Services may send payment confirmations, invoices, receipts, failed-payment notices, renewal information, and service messages using the contact information associated with the order. Delay Services stores the accepted order, amounts, customer, salesperson, and Stripe references in its business records.
5. Failed payments
If a recurring charge fails, Stripe or Delay Services may retry the payment and notify the customer. Delay Services may pause affected recurring services after notice while payment remains unpaid. A salesperson does not earn recurring commission on a charge that has not been successfully paid.
6. Changes in price
Delay Services will not silently replace the agreed recurring amount with a different amount. A price change requires advance written notice and any consent required by the service agreement or applicable law.
7. Cancellation
The customer may stop future eligible recurring charges by following the Cancellation Policy. Canceling recurring service does not automatically refund an amount already charged and does not erase amounts properly owed for completed work or approved third-party costs.
8. Revoking authorization
A customer may revoke this recurring authorization by canceling the associated recurring service. Contact billing@delayservices.com or use the Contact Us page. Revocation applies to future eligible charges after the request is verified and processed.
9. Questions
For questions about a charge or recurring authorization, contact billing@delayservices.com. Do not send complete card numbers by email or SMS.
